PLACE .FOR A PUBLIC HEARING CONCERiQING
THE POSSIBLE COi~DEM1:3ATION OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY [LIi~TDBERG PARK]
WIiEREAS, the public interest and necessity may require
the construction of a public neighborhood park to be located
at 3173-3177 El Segundo Boulevard, Lynwood, California, and
the acquisition of certain real property for said public use
and improvement, and
WHEREAS, prior to adopting a resolution concerning the
construction of such a park and authorizing the acquisition.
of such real property, the .City Council desires to conduct a
public hearing relative to such construction and acquisition.
ivO"W, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
HEREsY DOES ~F-IND, DETERi•~T:~1E, ODDER AND RESOLVE as follows
SECTION 1. A public hearing will be held on i"larch 20,
19`79 :at tine hour of T: 30 P.. M. , or 'as noon thereafter as the
matter can be heard., 'in the chamber of the City Council at
11330'Bullis Road, Lynwood, California, for the purpose of
considering a resolution concerning the construction of a
public neighborhood park at 3173-3.177 El Segundo Boulevard
and authorizing the acquisition of Lots 20 and :2,2,, Block
15, Belle Vernon Acres.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk hereby is authorized and
directed to send mailed notice of said hearing, in the form
attached hereto as Exhibit A, to all persons owning any in-
terest in the aforesaid real property.

RE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AivD COATSTRUC-
1^ION OF A PUBLIC NEIGHBORHOOD PARK LOCAT-
ED AT 3173-3177 EL SEGUNDO BOULEVARD,
LYNWOOD,. CALIFORNIA
PLr;ASE TAKE NOTICE that the City Council of the City of
Lynwood intends to consider a resolution concerning the con-
struction of a public neighborhood park to be located at
3173-3177 E1 Segundo Boulevard, Lynwood, California, and auth-
orizing the acquisition of your real property for that purpose.
A hearing will be held on r7arch 20, 1979, at 7 30 P Pd.,
or as soon thereafter as the matter can ;~e i~eard, at the City
Hall, 11330 Bullis road, Lynwood, California 90262 for the
purpose of considering testimony relating to said construction
and acquisition.
You have a right to appear and be heard on the following
matters.
1. Whether the public interest and necessity require
the project;
2. Wnether the project is planned or located in the
man-ner that will be most compatible with the great-
est public good and the least private injury;
3. Whether the property sought to be acquired is nec-
essary for the project.
Failure to file a written request with the City Clerk i
to appear and be heard within 15 days after receipt of this I
notice will result in waiver of our ri ht to ap ear and be
