HomeMy Public PortalAbout1992-118Member Thies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 92-118 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR HAMEL WELL NO. 4 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of a new municipal well in the southwest corner of the old reservoir site along Pinto Drive ( Hamel Well No. 4) , bids were received, opened and tabulated according to iaw and the bids received which complied with the advertisement are summarized on Exhibit A attached hereto; and WHEREAS, it appears that E. H. Renner & Sons, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The mayor and clerk -treasurer are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. of Elk River, Minnesota in the name of the City of Medina for construction of Hamel Well No. 4, according to the plans and specifications approved by the city council and on file in the office of the clerk -treasurer. 2. The clerk -treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has beei ,. igned .
