Meeting was called to order at 4:40 by Daniel Coursey/Chair who introduced Michael Hicks.
Weston & Sampson Review of Studv:
• Mr. Hicks provided an in-depth review of the Feasibility Study for a New Dept. of Public
Works/Natural Resources Facility. (Attached)
• Key elements covered were:
• Review of existing facilities and conditions with emphasis on current poor conditions
and potential safety violations.
• Available commercial sites not deemed feasible for new Facility.
• Space requirements for 8 departments currently in operation.
■ Explanation of proposed three phase plan which addresses the Giddiah Hill site
layout for proposed buildings.
Minutes Approval
January 15, 2015 Minutes were approved unanimously.
Next Steps
• Balance of Agenda items including Discussion with Tom Daley on change to operations due to
organizational structure, peer review status and scheduling of facility tour and potential site
locations will be addressed at next meeting.
