RESOLUTION initiating proceedings
for the issuance of $500,000 Sewer
Bonds of the Town of Riverdale, Iowa.

WHEREAS the Town of Riverdale, in the County of Scott, and

jState of Iowa, heretofore pursuant to and in strict compliance with
gall laws applicable, lawfully ordered and provided for building and.

constructing sewers and a sewer outlet and purifying plant for said
Town, the cost whereof, to the amount of $500,000, is to be paid by
said Town as a whole by the issuance of bonds; and
WHEREAS it is necessary and advisable that provisions be.
made for the issuance. of such bonds and notice and hearing on the
'initiation of proceedings for such issuance has heretofore been
iven in manner and form required by Section 23.12 of the Code of

~Towa, and no petition nor protest has been filed, and no petition..
!has been filed asking that the proposition of issuing said bonds
Abe submitted to the voters of said Town;
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Resolved by the Town Council of the,
Town of Riverdale, Iotira, as follows:
Section 1. That the Town Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and instructed to arrange for the preparation of a form
of ordinance authorizing the issuance of these bonds and providing
for the levy of taxes to pay the same.
Section 2. That this meeting and hearing on the issuance
of said bonds be and the same is hereby adjourned to the 4th daY
of March , 1875, at 7:30 o'clock P. M., at the Town Hall
in said Town, at which time and place said form of ordinance shall
be presented to this Council for action thereon in connection with
the issuance of these bonds.

Section 3. That all resolutions or parts thereof in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed and this
resolution shall be effective forthwith upon its passage and
approval. ,

copy of such official records showing the action taken by the Town
Council of said Town on February 11, 1975, in connection with the
#conduct of a hearing on the issuance of $500,000 Sewer Bonds. of saic
Town, to,be dated January 1, 1975, and the sale and award of said
