RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABATE DRY AND
DRYING WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND {
IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.

WHEREAS, Chapter 13 of the Government Code, :cited as
"Weed and :Rubbish Abatement, "provides for abatement of dry and

_ drying weeds that constitute a Public nuisance, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Council of the City of Lynwood. by the Superintendent of Streets

that there exists a public nuisance on certain parcel of land in
the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter more particulary described:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Lynwood, as follows:-
1. That by reason of weeds growing on or in front
thereof a public nuisance exists upon the parcels of land, lots
or portions of lots set forth below.: ~

the cost thereof assessed upon said proper~ies and that upon confirmation, - --

- 5. That the proceedings for aforesaid work shall be taken under

an Act of the Legislature of the State of California designated as the
JGovernrnent. Code, Chapter 13, Section 39501, et seq.., cited as "Weed and
Rubbish Abatement, "and amendments~therto. .-~_
_ 6. Notice is hereby given that on the 1? day of Jnly 1979 Tuesday,
gat the hour ?:30 p. m. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road,
in the City of Lynwood, any and all persons having any objections or-protests
ito said proposed work may appear before said City Council and show cause -• ~ -_
!why said .proposed work ..should not be carried out in accordance with said Act.
