Home My Public Portal About79-047 (07-03-79)• • RESOLUTLON N0. 7'9-~7 A RESOLUTIOT~ OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYN4VOOD ORDERING VACATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT~OF•~jVAY BEING A PORTION OF 107TH PLACE, FORMERLY FIRST STREET. ~~VHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood d.i.d on the 5th of June, 1979, adopt Resolution No. 79-28 declaring its intention to vacate a portion of 107th Place, formerly First Street, between the Westerly line of Alameda Street and the Easter)_y line of Watts Avenue, and WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published a,nd posted in the tinge, form and manner required by l.aw, and WHEREAS, a public hearing on the matter was held on the 3rd day of July, 1979, as prescribed by law, NOyY, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood, as follows• Section 1. That the following described 107th Place, for- merly First Street, is unnecessary for present or prospective public street used Beginning at the northwesterly corner of lot 1 in black C of Watts Park Tract as shown on map filed in Book 8, Page 70 of lt4aps in the Office of the Recorder of .Los Angeles County, thence South 07` 32' East 10 feet, then South 87° 35' West to a point in l.ot 31, block C, as shown on last mentioned map, said point being the be- ginning of a tangent curve concave to the Southeast, having a radius of 17 feet, the terminus of said curve being at the _~ _~_.-tangent to the easterly line _of__the westerly 1.0 _feet of__ lot 33, __ block C, as shown on last mentioned map, thence North 07° 32' West to the intersection with the northerly line of 107th Place, formerly First Street, as shown on last mentioned map, thence North 87° 35' East along last said line to a point on the southerly line of lot 4, in block A, as shown on last mentioned map said of last mentioned lot, thence South 07` 32p East to the intersection with the South line of said 10?th Place, formerly First Street, as shown on last .mentioned map, said intersection being at the westerly 31.12 feet of the easterly 12505 feet of lot 1 block C, as shown on last mentioned map, thence South 87° 35e ti'Vest 94.38 feet to the point of beginning.
