A RESOLUTI01~ OF' THE CrTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DETERMINING THAT A NUISANCE 1S BE:LNG

AND DIRECTING THE ABA`S'EMENT TT3EREOT~' . .
WHEREAS, pursuant to ,the-~recommendation.~o~..th~ City Manager
of the City of Lynwood, ~hi~s City.. Council. has previously found that
certain premises, hereinafter more fully described, r~a;y be presently
being maintained in sa:ch a manner as to canstitute.a nuisance;
WHEREA5, in light of said finding; this Council adopted

WHEREAS, this Council has held a hearing and has heard
and considered all relevant evidence and testimony from all
interested persons, desiring to be heard concerning the conditions.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine; order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The property described as Lot 556; Tract 2551,
City~of•Lynwood; more commonly known as 3264 Fernwood Avenue,°City
of Lynwood, California, is~hereby found and declared to be a public
nuisance as defined in Chapter 21 of the Lynwrood City Code.
Section 2. .The particular conditions. of said property
which are hereby .found and. determined to constitute a nuisance
are described as follows
1. A house over fift~r (50) years old .and in a state of
. _ - ~, . ,- - .. disrepair; encl. property that is overgrown, Forth dry;
combustible weeds. Since June 5, 1969 CalTrans has
boarded up the house.
.Section 3. ~ It is further found and deter°zninecl that,
in order to abate said nuisance, it c~].]~ be. necessary that: t~;e
following steps be taken:

Section 6. Tn the event the City of Lynwood. causes
the aforementioned nuisance to be abated by the City personnel
or private contract; the owner of the premises shall be liable
°~to said City for. all costs of-such abatement,, including all.
admristrative~costs, A11 said costs, shall constitute a"special
assessment against"the subject property:
Section 7. The City Clerk_is authorized and directed
to post conspicuously: at .least one,. copy of'this resolution on
the subject property and to" send another, copy, of this resolution
by registered or certified mail., postage prepaid, return receipt
requested, to the owner of the land as h"is name and address
appear on the last equalized assessment roll or ~.s known, to the
