RESOLUTION N0.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD DESIGNATING CERTAIN IN-
DIVIDUALS TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF CITY
ATTORNEY, ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY, AND
DEPUTY CITY ATTORNEY, AND APPROVING AN
INCREASE IN ATTORNEY'S FEES
_ WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood retains the law firm of
Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth to provide legal services
to the City; and
WHEREAS, said firm has 'requested a revision to the fee
arrangement between it and the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS the City Council wishes to approve said revi-
sion and to designate certain individuals to perform the
duties of city attorney, assistant city attorney, and deputy
city attorney,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
hereby does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The revisions to the fee arrangement be-
tween the firm of Stradling, Yocca, Carlson & Rauth, a pro-
fessional corporation, .and the City of Lynwood which are
set forth in a letter from said firm to _the City Council of
the City of .Lynwood dated June 13, 1979, a copy of which
letter is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated here-
in by this reference as though set forth at length, hereby
are approved effective July 1, 1979.
SECTION 2. The following individuals hereby are desig-
nated to perform the duties of the positions indicated
opposite their names: John J. Murphy - City Attorney; Thomas
P. Clark, Jr. - Assistant City Attorney; David R. McEwen,
Assistant City Attorney; M. Stephen Coontz - Deputy City
Attorney and Richard C. Goodman - Deputy City Attorney.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 3r day of July , 1979.
