RESOLUTION NO. 13-8576
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO PREPARE AND ISSUE A REQUEST FOR
QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) FOR PARKS PROGRAM
MANAGERS, PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka seeks the service of qualified
Parks Program Managers to plan,organize and facilitate challenging and satisfying leisure service
programs to meet the needs of our residents; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to issue a Request for Qualifications("RFQ")for Parks Program Managers with diverse
interests and experience in, community recreation, recreation programming,promotion,outdoor
leadership and other park and resource activities for the City of Opa-locka.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs and authorizes
the City Manager to prepare and issue an RFQ for Parks Program Managers.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of April, 2013.
