ASSESSr~IEN'1S k'OR THE LYNWOOD LANDSCAPE MAINTET1AT~iCE DISTRICT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1979:$0 r` WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did on the 7th day of .August. 1979, adopt a Resolu.tior~ Nos. 79-&0 and 79-61 proposing the annual assessment for the Landscape Maintenance District and directing the City Engineer to prepare a.report in connection therewith, and WHEREAS, the City Engineer did on the 7th day of August 1.979, submit a, report in relation"'to "said District pursuant to the provi.si.ons - of the "Landscaping anal Lighting Act of.1972"-(P"art 2 of Die.sion l5 of the Streets & Highways Code of the State of California), and tiYHEREAS, the City Council of the City of .Lynwood. did on the 7th day of August 1979 adapt Resolution No. 79-61 adopting Engineer.'s Report herein mentioned and declaring its intention to order the annual assessment of said district and fixing the. time and place for a hearing in the .matter of said.District-, and - WHEREAS, the City Clerk has duly executed the publication and posting o~ notice ~f said hearing. in the time, form, .and manner required by law, T1OW„ TIiEREFORE, THE SAID CITY COUNCIL DOES HEREBY FIND, DETERm . MINE, ORDER,- AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1, Each and all of the .recitals set forth herein above are-true and correcto Section 2. That the protests submitted do not represent property .owners-owning, more than 50 percent of the-area of assessable lands within said district and said protests are hereby overruled. .Section 3. The assessment district designated in the Engineeros • Report in relation to the Lynwood Landscape Maintenance District is hereby formed and-the improvements described in said report and Resolution No. 79-61 hereby are to be maintained and th•e'diagram and assessment set forth in said report hereby are confirmed,• The adoption of this Resolution shall cons- titute the formation of Lynwood Landscape Maintenance District and the .levying of the assessments in connection therewith for fiscal year 1979-80. Section 4. `I'he City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forthwith fi.Ie a certified,copy of said diagram and assessment .with the County Auditor. s ~r F yet ~ ', +~ !
