A RESOLUTION OF THE CI^1Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD PROPOSING THE FORMATION OF A LANDSCAPE
MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AND ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER
OF SAID CITY"TO PREPARE A REPORT IN CONNECTION THERE-

'°LANDSCAPING' APJD' LIGHTING ACT OF 1972°f (PART 2 OF
D I V I S I ON- 15 OF THE STREETS AND H I GHj~VAY CODE OF THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA).
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
propose the formation of Lynwood Landscape Maintenance District and
resolve as follows
Section 1, The improvement will include the following
a) The planting of landscaping including parkway trees
b) The installation of ornamental structures .and
facilities.
c) The installation or construction of any facilities

which are necessary or convenient for the maintenance
or servicing thereof, including, grading, clearing,
removal of debris, the construction of curbs, gutters,
walls, sidewalks, paving, irrigation, drainage, or
electrical facilities,
d) Maintenance services for all of the foregoing including
trimming, pruning, removing, watering ,~ fertilizing, a~r~~
parkway tree Y'emovals,
Section 2. The boundaries of the proposed assessment
district to be referred as 7°Landscape Maintenance District" will be

coterminous with the boundaries of the City of Lynwood, excluding all
publicly owned properties. The Landscaping will include trees,
grass, shrubs and all.. ornamental vege.tati.on located within the public
right-of-way, parks, the civic center complex, two fire stations and
six water wells,. ,~

prepare and file a report in relation to said district all in accordance
with Part 2, Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State

of said report to adopt a resolution of intention and take proceedings
with reference thereto, pursuant to the provisions of said law,
