A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE C I TY OF LYN~~YOOD
APPOTNTING A CITY EPdGTNEER
"" ~YHEREAS, the .City of Lynwood requires, from time to time,
a duly licensed California Civil Engineer to perform City Engineering
functions and;.
tiYHEREAS, Willdan Associates is an engineering firrn experienced
in Califo~ni.a municipal engi-neering work and;
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood wishes to retain.the services
of Willdan Associates-for such City Engineeri-ng work until such time
as more permanent arrangements are made for this .City function; ,

NOj'V, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City_ of Lynwood .
does hereby resolve, determine and order as follows:
1. Willdan Associates is hereby appointed as City Engineer
for t.he. City of Lynwood.
2", That California Registered Civil Engineer employed by
Willdan Associates in responsible charge of these functions`
shall be John E, Maulding R.C.E. 11622.
3. This appointment may be terminated at .any time at the
pleasure of the City Council.
4. The fee for such services shall be $200.00 per month,
which shall include the general overview of the City's
'engineering operation. Where specific engineering tasks
are .requested of Willdan by either the City Manager or .
the City Council, Willdan shall invoice tYie City for
such services at the lower range of the prevailing fee
schedule, as latest revised, published by the Southern
California Association~of Civil Engineers and Land
Surveyors or by the lower fee- scale of the Americanµ -- ~~ - ~-"-~-
Society of Civil Engineers, Bulletin No. 45, as latest
revised. ~ ~
