OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD FIXING THE RATES
LEVYING TAXES FOR THE
BEGINNING JULY 1,.1979
UNE 30, 1980.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE A5 FO:L' LOWS
_ SECTION .1. That for •the purpose of taxation, all of
that territory and land lying and being in the corporate limits
of City of Lynwood, California, prior to February 1, 1970, shall
constitute the taxing area subject to the provisions of th~.r~ .res-
olution"
SECTION 2. The amount of money necessary to be raised
by taxation upon the taxable property within the corporate. limits
of said City to provide for the payment to the State Employees'
Retirement System, authority for the execution of said contract as
granted by Ordinance No. 426, adopted by a vote of the qualified
electors of the City of Lynwood the 16th day of April, 1946, for
the Fisca.l.Year beginning July 1, 1979 and ending June 30, .1980,
is hereby fixed at the sum of Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
(330,000,00},
SECTION 3, That for the purpose of raising the sum of
money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property
within the City limits of said City of Lynwood as the revenues to
provide payment of State Employees' Retirement Fund as authorized
in Ordinance No, 426, The rates of taxes are hereby fixed and taxes
are hereby levied on all taxable property within the City limits of
said City for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1., 1979 and ending
June 30, 1980, upon each $100,00 of the assessed value of. said prop-
ertyas_,assessed by ahe County Assessor and equalized by the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, far
said fiscal year as .follows:
For City's contribution to Stag Retirement
Fund authorized at election held April, 1946 $,40
SECTION 4, The City Clerk is hereby directed to forward
immediately to the County Auditor-Controller of Los Angeles County
a Certified copy of this resolution.
SECTION 5, That the City Clerk of said City .shall certify
to the adoption of this Resolution and cause the same to be published
once in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in said City of Lynwood.
