"WHEREAS, the California. State Legislature has
• ~ enacted the State Litter Control Recycling and Resource
• y Rec-overy Grant program;_-.and, ~-.. - .,-'.~ -
-_ WHEREAS, the State Solid Waste Management Board
• has the responsibility; for ~administer.ing~said program;-and ±
~,_ - -
_-. WHEREAS,'the City of Lynwood has previously~sub-
`-miffed an application for funds available through this -
.:p'rogr'am; and

WHEREAS, the State' Solid Waste Management. Board. '
" 'has given .preliminary approval to the City's .application,
NOW, THEREFORE,'be it resolved that the City Manager
"" is authorized to `execute agreements with the State Solid Waste
Management Board in regard to the City~of.Lynwood's recycling
