. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNii~00D AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION FOR -
GRANT ASSISTANCE UNDER THE URBAN PARK AND
RECREATION RECOVERY (UPARR) PROGRAM
. R'HEREAS, the Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Act
(Title X of P.L. 95-625) was signed into law on November 10,
1978; and
• ji'HEREAS, the Heritage Conservation and Recreation .
Service of the United States ,Department of the Interior has
been given the responsibility to administer this program; and ~.
WHEREAS,~the City of Lynwood is eligible to receive
: funds under this program; and
R'HEREAS, the City of Lynwood must prepare a Recovery "
Action Program in order to receive such funds;~and
. R'HEREAS,.the Heritage Conservation and Recreation
Service has funds to assist in the preparation of Recovery -
Action Program.
NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood
authorize the submission of an application to the Heritage. .
Conservat-ion .and Recreation Service for grant assistance '
to develop a Recovery Action Program. ~ _„
