A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNj9O0D APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
FOR JAh4ES CAMPBELL TO OPERATE A BULK CHEMICAL
- ~ STORAGE FACILITY ON A PORTION OF BULLIS LAND
ON THE SAN ANTnNIO RANCH, MORE COMMONLY KN0~9N
AS 11642 hiONA BOULEVARD, ALL ~9ITHIN THE CORPOR-
ATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF LYN~YOOD
~ti"HEREAS, the City of Lynwood has received an application
for a Conditional Use Permit from James Campbell to operate a Bulk
Chemical Storage Facility at 11642 Mona Boulevard in a Manufacturing
Zone; and
~ti'HEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood,
after giving notice thereof as required by law, has held and con-
ducted a Public Hearing concerning said application and, based upon
the evidence presented, has adopted Resolution No. 678 recom*~ending
approval of said Conditional Use Permit; and
- 11'HEREAS, the City Council, after providing notice thereof•
as required by ,law, has held and conducted a Public Hearing to
consider said permit and has heard and considered all pertinent
evidence persented;
N0~9 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Lynwood hereby does find, determine, and order as
follows:
Section 1. That the applicant shall install one on-site
fire hydrant (location to be determined by Fire Department).
Section 2: That the applicant shall store all flammable
------- chemicals-in -accordance with--NFPA_3D--Flammable-=and-=Combu~s ibl~e- -
Liquids Code (National Fire .Protection Association .
Section 3. That the applicant shall post perimeter of
property with signs (each 100 feet) warning of possible danger of
chemicals.
Section 4. That the applicant shall install new corrugated
steel. (29 gauge) fence along perimeter of property riot less than 6 feet
in height. ~ -
Section 5. That the applicant shall plant and maintain
shubbery each five feet along Mona Boulevard.
section 6. That the applicant shall .not store materials
to exceed a height of seventeen feet.
Section 7. That the applicant shall maintain grounds in
a neat and orderly manner.
Section 8. That the applicant shall not store any radio-
active chemicals on the property at any time.
Section 9. That the applicant-shall be subject to annual
review for conformance to. City of Lynwood Codes and Ordinances.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said Council approve a
Conditional Use Permit for James Campbell to operate a Bulk Chemical
Storage Facility at 11642 bona Boulevard subject to the afore-
mentioned conditions., •
