CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-09
RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO TODD BARTELS FOR A HOME OCCUPATION
WHEREAS, Todd Bartels (Applicant) has requested permission to
conduct a home occupation at the residential property located at 420 Ridgeview
Circle; and
WHEREAS, the home occupation involves an outside employee; and
WHEREAS, the City's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit for
any home occupation involving an outside employee; and
WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission on February
9, 1993 and by the city council on March 2, 1993; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that granting the requsted conditional use
permit will not impede the orderly development of adjacent properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the
stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. There shall be not more than one outside employee engaged in the
business on the property;
2. There shall be no signs advertising the business on the property;
3. Any vehicles which display the name of the Applicant's business must
be placed in the garage overnight;
4. The hours of operation are limited to lam to 7pm, 7 days per week; and
5. The Applicant must pay to the City a fee in the amount determined by
the staff to represent the actual cost to the City of reviewing this
conditional use permit.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina that any violation
of the terms and conditions of this conditional use permit or any related section of
the City's ordinance code shall be grounds for revocation of this conditional use
permit .

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Johnson.
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Councilmembers Ferris, Johnson, Thies, Zietlow and Mayor Theis.
and the following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
