Home My Public Portal About13-8581 Allsafe Pool Covers for Hard Pool Cover for Sherbondy Park Sponsored by: City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 13-8581 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH ALLSAFE POOL COVERS FOR HARD POOL COVER, FOR SHERBONDY PARK, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,210.00, PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 72-57246, A BUDGETED ITEM; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the pool cover is a safety measure that will protect the pool and prevent swimming during non-operational hours, will protect the pool from the sun, and against the accumulation of debris; and WHEREAS, the City received quotes from three different vendors and Allsafe Pool Covers was the lowest price received for$7,210.00; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka finds it in the best interest of the City to enter into an agreement with Allsafe Pool Covers, for Sherbondy Park. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, authorizes the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Allsafe Pool Covers for a hard pool cover for Sherbondy Park, in an amount not to exceed $7,210.00, payable from Account No. 75-572461, a budgeted item.
