CALL TO ORDER: Dr. John Straus called the meeting to order at 7:30 PM.
PRESENT: Dr. John Straus, Dr. Barbara Beck, Cynthia Brooks, Steven Ward, and
Kristel Bennett.
Minute Review: The Board of Health reviewed the minutes of the July 21, 2010
meeting. Dr. Barbara Beck made a motion to accept the minutes of the July 21, 2010
meeting. Cynthia Brooks seconded the motion. Ali were in favor.
The Board of Health reviewed the minutes of the September 15, 2010 meeting. Dr.
Barbara Beck made a motion to accept the minutes of the September 15, 2010 meeting.
Dr. John Straus stepped down as char and seconded the motion. All were in favor.
25 Prentiss Street: Kristel Bennett infolined the Board that the administrative hearing
has been cancelled since the owners of the property located at 25 Prentiss Street had
corrected all the sanitary violations listed in the order to correct letter.
Body Art Regulation Amendment: The Board reviewed the Body. Art Regulation
Amendments that include but are not limited to language that addressed training and
educational requirements for body art practitioners. After much discussion thereof Dr.
Barbara Beck made a motion to adopt the amended "Rules and regulations for Body Art
Establishments and Practitioners" regulations. Cynthia Brooks seconded the motion. All
were in favor.
198 Summer Street: Kristel Bennett presented a chronology of the history of 198
Summer Street to the Board. Attorney Stephen Winnick addressed the Board and
presented his case. Other individuals from the public gave testimony in support of 198
Summer Street included Marilyn Petetto Devaney, Katelyn Schultz, Joe Grillo, Sandy
