AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 199S BUDGET
WHEREAS Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, adopted a budget for
calendar year 1995, and
WHEREAS Common Council has cictermmed it is necessary to transfer money from one
major budget classificatiad to another within a dot or office, and
WHEREAS the transfer does not require the expenditure of more money than the total
amount set out in the budget as finally determined under Indiana Code
6-1.1, and
WHEREAS this transfer may be made under Indiana Code 6-1.1-18-6 without notice
and without the approval of the State Board of Tax Commissioners,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
that the 1995 budget be amended as follows:
A. General

Delete $18,300.00 from Hot/Cold Mix
Existing account no. 101-1-1-101-2-2363
2.
Add $17,000.00 to Temporary Help
New account no. 101-1-1-101-1-1197
3.
Add $1,055.00 to FICA Employer Share
Existing account no. 101-1-1-101-1-1220
4.
Add $245.00 to MICA Employer Share
Existing account no. 101-1-1-101-1-1222
5.
Delete $2,300.00 from Promodonai Expense
Existing account no,101-1-1-101-3-3980
6.
Add $1,300.00 to Computer Equipment

7.
Add $1,000.00 to Street Tres

This ordinance transfers $18,300.00 in the General Fund from the Mayor's Office Hot/Cold Mix
Account to said office's Temporary Help Accounts for funds needed to hire summer employees.
This ordinance also transfers $2,300.00 from the Mayor's Office Promotional Expense Account
to said office's Computer Equipment Account, $1,300.00 and Street Trees Account, $1,000.00.
This ordinance also transfers $215.00 from the Department of Laws Office Supplies Account to
said office's Other Equipment Account to cover an increase in 1994 computer expenses.
This ordinance can be passed with all three readings in a single meeting upon suspension of
rules to advance to second and third readings.
