resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-22
RESOLUTION APPROVING JOINT COOPERATION
AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City of Medina, Minnesota and the County of
Hennepin have in effect a Joint Cooperation Agreement for
purposes of qualifying as an Urban County under the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development
Block Grant and HOME Programs; and
WHEREAS, the City and County wish to execute a new Joint
Cooperation Agreement in order to continue to operate as an Urban
County for purposes of the CDBG Program and HOME Programs;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City continue its
participation in the Urban Hennepin County CDBG Program and that
a new Joint Cooperation Agreement betweeen the City and County be
executed, effective October 1, 1993, and that the Mayor and City
Clerk be authorized and directed to sign the Agreement on behalf
of the City.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Councilmember Ann Thies.
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Councilmembers Ferris, Johnson, Thies, Zietlow and
Mayor Theis.
and the following voted against same: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted
this 4th day of May , 1993.
