A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD~DECLARING IT,S INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A NUISANCE IS BEING PRAINTAINED
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN A5 3349
5EMINOLE AVENUE,. LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Lynwood has recommended
that this City Council find that a certain premise within the City of
Lynwood may be maintained in such a way as to constitute a nuisance;
and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth in Chapter 21 of the
City Code~of the City of Lynwood,~pursuant to which nuisances may
be abated,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based upon the aforesaid recommendation of the City Manager
this Council hereby finds and determines that the following descr--bed
property may be presently being maintained in such a manner as to
constitute a nuisance. Said property is described as the east
portion of Lot 145 of Tract 5222 and is generally known as 3349
Seminole Avenue,~Lynwood, California.
2. The conditions of said property which constitute a nuisance
are described as follows:
a, waste water from house draining into yard
b. yards scattered with junk and debris
c. .inoperative vehicles
3. The method or methods by which said conditions could be
abated include.:
a. install necessary plumbing to direct waste water
into sewer system
b. remove junk and debris from yards
C. remo~t~ inoperative vehicles.
4. This Council therefore declares its intention to conduct a
public hearing pursuant to Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City
of Lynwood to ascertain whether the above-described conditions con-
stitute a public nuisance, the abatement of which is appropriate
under the Police power of the City of Lynwood.
rv5. The City Council is authorized and directed to fix the time
and place for said public hearing and to serve and post certified
copies of this Resolution in the manner- set forth in Section 21-18
of the Lyntaood City Code .
PASSED AND ADOPTED At a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Lynwood held on the 18th day of April, T978.
