A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY-COUNCIL OF THE^
CITY~OF LYNWOOD DECLARING-ITS INTENTION
TO CONDUCT A~PUBLIC HEARI,N.G TO ASCERT.AIN-~
WHETHER A-NUISANCE: IS BEING MAINTAINED
ON PROPERTY GENERALLY-KNOWN AS 11747°
STATE STREET, LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of :,:Lynwood has recommended
that this City- Council --,find;; that ,a certain _ premise within the, City_ of
Lynwood may., be-maintained-in such-a way; as: to constitute„a nuisance;
and,
WHEREAS, certain procedures are~set forth in Chapter 21 of the
City Code of ..the City„of Lynwood, pursuant to which ;nuisances may. be
abated;. - ,
NOW, THEREFORE-, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF-LYNWOOD -
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE-AS FOLLOWS: "-
1. Basedr.upon the, aforesaid recommendation of the, City; Manager
t~liis.Council-hereby finds and, determines that~the following described
property. may be presently-being maintained in such~.a manner as to
constitute a nuisance. Said proAierty.is described as Lot: 23 of_
Modjeska-Acres, and is generally known as 11747•State Street, Lynwood,,
California: -
` 2•. The conditions of-said property-which constitute a.-nuisanee
are describedyas-~~follows: ~ -
_a) -broken windows -
b) yards-overgrown and: scattered with debris
c) inoperative, vehicles, in driveway.
3.. The method or methods~by-which said conditions could--be-
abated includes. -
` a-) - .replace broken windows`
' b)- mow and clean yards. and provide continual maintenanee~-
• ~~ c) remove all inoperat.ve,vehicles:
4. This Council therefore, declares-its intention to :conduct a
public.:hearing pursuant to Chapter. 21 of~the City Code of the. City.
of Lyriwogd to ascertain:. whether the above-described conditions con-
statute-a public nuisance, the abatement`of.whch is appropriate
under 'the Police. power of the City of Lynwood. _
5.~ The City Council is authorized-and-directed to fix the time
