A RESOLU
LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER
OF SAID CITY TO MAKE AND FILE N~ITN THE CITY CLERK
A PRELIMINARY REPORT OF MAINTENANCE OF STREET
LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF LYPdN(OOD, AS CONTEMPLATED
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE "STREET LIGHTING
ACT OF 1919" (PART 1 OF DIVISION 14 OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA)
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve as
follows
Section 1 That the City Engineer be and he is hereby directed to
make and file with the City Clerk of said City a report, in writing, covering
the maintenance of street lighting The improvement contemplated in such
report shall be the maintenance of, and the furnishing of electric current

for the lighting of the various fixtures and appliances upon the various public
thoroughfares within said City for a period of three years commencing July 1,
1978
-- Sec#ion-2 -That said r.-eport shall contain the fo lowing
(a) Plans and specifications for the proposed improvement
(b) An estimate of the cost of said improvement for the period of
time above specified
(c) A diagram showing the proposed assessment district and also the
boundaries and dimensions of the respective lots or parcels of land within said
district, each of which lots or parcels is to be given a separate number upon
said diagram
(d) A proposed assessment of the total amount of the costs and
expenses of the proposed improvement upon the several lots or parcels of land
in the assessment district in proportion to the estimated benefits to be received
by such lots or parcels, respectively, from said improvement

Section 3 That such report shall be in compliance with the.
provisions of the Street Lighting Act of 1919, Part 1 of Division 14 of the Streets

and Highways Code of the State of California, as amended, and that said ('euncil
expects upon receipt of said report to adopt a resolution of intention and take
proceedings with reference thereto, pursuant to the provisions of said law
