RESOLUTION NO. 13-8606
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO DIRECT
THE CITY MANAGER TO SEEK SPONSORS FOR
ADVERTISING ON BUS SHELTERS IN THE CITY;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,to generate revenue for the City, the City Commission of the City of
Opa-locka, approves the use of advertisement on bus shelters in the City; and
WHEREAS,the advertisement on the bus shelters will benefit the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission directs the City Manager to seek proposals
from paying advertisers (advertising within code requirements) to use bus shelters in the
City as a source for their advertisement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby directs the
City Manager to seek proposals for advertisement on bus shelters in the City.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
