Home My Public Portal About13-8607 To Obtain Necessary Park Equipment for Utilization in the Parks Sponsored by: Commissioner Holmes RESOLUTION NO. 13-8607 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO OBTAIN NECESSARY PARK EQUIPMENT FOR UTILIZATION IN THE PARKS; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City's Parks provide recreational and cultural needs for the residents of Opa-locka; and WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka has three Parks: Sherbondy Park, Segal Park, and Ingram Park, which are in need of park equipment; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City Manager to obtain the necessary equipment for the Parks, in order to facilitate the residents' utilization of the Parks. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka hereby authorizes the City Manager to obtain the necessary park equipment to facilitate utilizing the Parks in the City of Opa-locka. Section 3.
