RESOLUTION NO. 78-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF '
: GYNWOOD •APPROVING OF AND MAKING APPLICATION FOR
THE DISABILITY RETIREMENT OF. LYNWOOD CITY
~EIViPLOYEE:RALPH D. MORRISON PURSUANT TO SECTIONS
21024 AND 21025 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE.
WHEREAS,. the City of Lynwood (hereinafter referred to as "Agengy")
is a contracting agency of the Public Employees' Retirement System; and
WHEREAS, the Public Employees' Retirement Law requires that
a ..contracting agency determine whether an employee of such agency in
. employment in which he is classified as a local safety member is disabled
for purposes. of the Public Erriployees' Retirement Law and whether such
disability. is ."Industrial" within the meaning of such law; and
WHEREAS,. the City of Lynwood has reviewed the medical and ~
other: evidence relevant to such alleged disability. ~

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,. that the City of Lynwood
find and determine,. and. it does hereby find and determine that Ralph D. iViorrison
is Incapacitated within the meaning of the Public Employees' Retirement
..Law for performance. of his duties in the position of Firefighter and establish
June 7, 1978 as his effective date of, retirement; and
BE IT FURTHER .RESOLVED that the City of Lynwood hereby makes
application for the disability retirement of Ralph D.~ Morrison and authorizes

and darects its appropriate officers to execute all documents necessary
and- convenient -therefor;. and ~ ~ . - _

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lynwood find and .
. determine and it does hereby find and determine that such disability is
a: result of injury or disease. arising out of and it1'.ahe course of empioyment. ~
