CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-34
RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT TO THE YEAR XVIII
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY STATEMENT OF PROPOSED USE OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, the City of Medina is a participant in the Urban
Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program through
a joint cooperation agreement with Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Medina and Hennepin County have
executed Hennepin County Contract No. A09622, the Year XVIII
Subrecipient Agreement, wherein the City agrees to assume certain
responsibilities for the implemenatation of approved community
development activities in the Urban Hennepin County Community
Development Block Grant program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina held a
public hearing on June 15, 1993 to consider public comments on a
proposed amendment to the Year XVIII Urban Hennepin County
Statement of Projected Use of Funds.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Medina amend
the Urban Hennepin County Statement of Projected Use of Funds for
Year XVIII by reallocating $7,738 from Comprehensive Park &
Trailway Plan and $7,500 from Storm Water Management Plan to ADA
Assessment Plan and Removal of Architectural Barriers;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of Medina
authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute Amendment No. 1 to
Contract No. A09622 to implement the subject amendment to the
Year XVIII Urban Hennepin County Statement of Proposed Use of
Funds.
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember John Ferris and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Ferris, Ann Thies and
Zietlow.

the following abstained: None.
the following were absent:
James Johnson and Mayor Anne Theis.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted
this 15th day of June , 19 93 .
