HomeMy Public PortalAbout1993-035Member Philip Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 93-35 RESOLUTION ORDERING CO. RD. 116 TRUNK SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT AND DIRECTING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS WHEREAS, the city council of the city of Medina previously called for a public hearing on the proposed Co. Rd. 116 trunk sanitary sewer line to be constructed from south of T . H . 55 in a northerly direction to serve the Doerr/Lundgren property; and WHEREAS, following ten days' mailed notice and two weeks published notice, a public hearing was held on May 18, 1993 and which was continued to June 1, 1993 and June 15, 1993, at which times all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The above described public improvement is hereby ordered. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as engineer for the project and shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. Dated: June 15, 1993. Thies, Acting Mayor RHB55528 ME230-183 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member John Ferris and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmembers Ferris, James Johnson, Ann Thies and Zietlow. and the following voted against same: Absent: Mayor Anne Theis.
