RESOLUTION NO. 13-8611
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO
DESIGNATE A "WALL OF FAME" IN SHERBONDY
VILLAGE TO HONOR PAST AND PRESENT
CONTRIBUTIONS AND ACHIEVEMENTS OF
COMMUNITY MEMBERS; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to create a
Wall of Fame in Sherbondy Village; and
WHEREAS, the Wall of Fame will honor individuals, past and present that have
achieved and made contribution to the City of Opa-locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to approve the designation of a "Wall
of Fame" area in Sherbondy Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby
approves the designation of a "Wall of Fame" area in Sherbondy Village, to honor past
and present contributions and achievements of community members.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of June, 2013.
