RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF '
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD E~XT>NDING THE
PRIOR SERVICE .FUNllING TO 1985 WITH
. -~ THE. PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM,
WI~REAS, the City of Lynwood is a.member of the Public Employees.,
' Retirement System, and;.
WHEREAS, the City of .Lynwood has been advised by the Public
Employees Retirement System of changes in the rate paid by the city, and;

WHEREAS, by a letter .dated 3-9-78 from Kenneth Gustafson, Actuary
-for the Public Employees Retirement System, that if the City"of Lynwood so
desired a lower rate the City of Lynwood, could request to'extend~the prior
service funding to 1985,
BE IT RESOLVED,.that the City Council of the City of Lynwood does,. ~.
seek to extend the prior service funding to 1985, and further resolves to
direct the City Clerk to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the
Public Employees Retirement System, 'indicating the desire of the City Council
• of the City of Lynwood for extending the prior service funding to 1985.
