RESOLUTION N0. 7$-118
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITX OF LYNWOOD
CONFIRMING A REDUCTION IN STREET LIGHTING ASSESSMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED by.the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
as follows:
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California,
did.on.the 6th day of-June 1978, adopt Resolution No. 78-51 Engineer's
Report in relation to the Lynwood Street Lighting District, and
WHEREAS, .said Report included a proposed assessment for com-
mercial properties (Zone B) at a rate of $3.11 per lineal frontal foot,
and
WHEREAS,. the County Tax Collector was directed to levy on said
properties assessment at a rate set forth in said Report, and
.WHEREAS, based on further calculations it has been determined
rthat the aforesaid rate on commercial properties can be reduced from $3.11
,. per-lineal foot to $1.00 per-lineal foot, and
WHEREAS, the County Tax Collector has been so advised, and where-
as, the City Council wishes to confirm said reduction in the manner appli-
;~ cable to said commercial properties.
NOW THEREFORE,. the said City .Council hereby does resolve that the
amount for street lighting assessment on said commercial properties be re-~
duced from $3.11 per lineal-foot to $1.00 per lineal foot and the~City
Manager is hereby directed to advise the County Tax Collector of said re-
duction.
