A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY. COUNCIL OF THE CITY '
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING AN: APPLICATION TO THE
LOS ANGELES COUNTY REGIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE
PLANNING BOARD FOR,F.UNDS AVAILABLE THROUGH
THE.OA'INIBUS CRIME CONTROL AND SAFE STREETS.
ACT..bF 1968 IN. ORDER, TO IMPLEMENT A BURGLARY
` ... IMPACT PROJECTo
WHEREAS., the City of Lynwood desires to uriderta~ke a
certain project designated ..Lynwood .Burglary Impact .Project to
_ be funded.iri part from funds made. available through the Omnibus.
Crime~Control and' Safe Streets Act of 1968, PL g0-351;_as amended,
(he.reafter referred.to as the Crime Control Act) administered by
the• Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to
as,OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Acting City
Manager.df the City. of Lynwood is authorized, on its behalf to
to submit the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes
including any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE TT FURTHERilRESOLVED that.: the applicant agrees to
provide all matching funds. require d. for said project (including
any extension or amendment=thereof) under the Crime Control Act `
and the rules and regulations of O~JP and the Law Enforcement
' Assistance Administration.and.that cash will be appropriated
as required thereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds deceived here-
under shall not be used to supplant law enforcement. expenditures -
controlled by this-body.
