OF THE CITY COUNCIL SUBJECT:- PROPOSED VACATION OF SANTA FE AVENUE SOUTHERLY OF IMPERIAL. HIGHWAY AND NORTH OF LYNWOOD ROAD Gentlemen: The City o~"Lynwood has been petitioned by Western Gear Corporation to vacate said Santa Fe Avenue. Santa Fe. Avenue is presently a dead end street and~is surrounded by Western Gear Corporation Buildings on three sides.a 'Phe City of Lynwood and the ,general public will benefif, from the vacation by returning the property to the' assessment rolls while still maint~.ining access to utilities f.hrough water, sewer, gas and electric utility easementsa The Planning Commission of the City of Lynwood did on October 10, 1978, find that the proposed vacation does not conflict with the City of Lynwood's general plan. or the Local Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
