RESOLUTION NO. 13-8617
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO ESTABLISH A
RECOGNITION PROGRAM HONORING CITY
EMPLOYEES (NON-POLICE) ON A MONTHLY BASIS;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka would like to
recognize and show appreciation to the City employees (non-police); and
WHEREAS,the City Commission desires to establish a Recognition Program for
City employees (non-police); and
WHEREAS, by establishing the recognition program, the City will present a
recognition of service award (not eligible for the Police Employee of the Month Award)
on a monthly basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby
authorizes establishing a Recognition Program to honor Opa-locka City Employees on a
Monthly basis, as "Employee of the Month", and awarding the employee with some
appropriate recognition for his/her services.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
