A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL ,OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING .THE .CITY/COUNTY
LAW. ENFORCEMENT SERVICES AGREEMENT AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is desirous of contracting
with-the County- of- -Los-- -Angeles--for--the performance of--law - -
enforcement functions.wi.thin its- boundaries by the County of
Los Angeles; and
WHEREAS, the City has received from the County a pro-
posed agreement entitled "CITY/COUNTY LAW ENFORCEMENT SERVICES
AGREEMENT", pursuant. to which agreement said law enforcement
functions would be provided as desired by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
reviewed said agreement and wishes to approve same;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of. the City of
Lynwood hereby does re-solve as follows:
Section l~: The City/County Law Enforcement Services
Agreement; a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A,
and by this reference incorporated herein, hereby is approved;
Section 2: The Mayor of the City of Lynwood hereby
is authorized and directed to execute said agreement, and the
City Clerk of the City of Lynwood to attest thereto;
Section '3: The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
hereby is authorized and directed to transmit certified copies
of this resolution to the Clerk of the Board .of Supervisors,
to the County Sheriff's Office, and to the Chief Administrative
