RESOLUTION N0. 77-33
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY .COUNCIL OF THE"CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A LEASE AND AGREEMENT
FOR SHERIFF'S STATION AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood proposes to contract
with the County of Los Angeles for the performance of law
enforcement functions. within its boundaries; and
WHEREAS, in connection with the performance of such
functions, the City desires to lease to the County the City's
Police Building for. use as a Sheriff's. station; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed a proposed
Lease and Agreement for a Sheriff's station and wishes to approve
the same;
NOW, THEREFORE,- the City Council of the City of Lynwood
.hereby does resolve as follows:
Section l: The "Lease and..Agreement,
Sheriff's station,
11330 Bullis Road", a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A, and by this~ref~erence incorporated herein, hereby
is approved;.
Section~2: The Mayor of the City of Lynwood hereby
is authorized and directed to-execute said Lease and Agreement,
and the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood to attest thereto;
Section .3: The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood hereby
is authorized and directed to transmit certified copies of
this resolution to the Clerk of~the Board of Supervisors, to
the County Sheriff's Office, and to the Chief Administrative
