CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-57
RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL OF A PLAT
FOR THORPE DISTRIBUTING COMPANY
WHEREAS, Thorpe Distributing Company (Applicant) has received preliminary
approval to replat property which is legally described as Outlot A, Alpana Second
Addition; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has submitted a final plat which complies with the
City's subdivision regulations and all requirements of preliminary plat approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, Minnesota that final approval is granted to the Applicant for its plat, subject
to the following conditions:
1. The Applicant must obtain all necessary approvals from the Minnesota
department of natural resources, the army corps of engineers, and the Elm
Creek watershed district for the plat;
2. The Applicant must pay to the city for administrative expenses the amount
determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of
reviewing the plat;
3. The Applicant must post a letter of credit or other acceptable surety with the
City to guarantee completion of all on -site improvements required by this
resolution or the conditional use permit;
4. The Applicant must file the final plat within 60 days of the date of this
approval. After 60 days the City's approval shall be considered null and
void.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Medina this 25th day of
August , 1993.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Phil Zietlow and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Councilmembers Ferris, Ann Thies, Zietlow and Mayor Anne Theis
Absent: Councilmember James Johnson
and the following voted against same:
None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
