" A RESOLUTION OF THE CTTY COUNCIL OF THE CLTY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING A JOINT SUBMITTAL OF PROJECTS
F.OR THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, LYNWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT, AND COMPTON COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO THE
- ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION FOR LOCAL PUBLIC
WORKS. ACT., ROUND II FUNDING
WHEREAS, the E"conomic Development Administration s~
. administering. the Local Public Works Applications for the second
round of funding; and
WHEREAS, said applications•of competing applicants for the -
• same jurisdiction require submittal of a priority listing and application
' submittal for t;Yi°.e~projects; and •
~ "
WHEREAS, funds allocated for the'Lynwood target area are to
be shared by the City of"Lynwood, Lynwood Unified School District and
• Compton Community .College; and

WHEREAS, the Local Public Works Round II Fund Allocation for
.the Lynwood area is insufficient to allow completion of all projects
shared in the Lynwood target area without prioritization and/or
endorsement of said projects; and
WHEREAS, all projects are vital to the economict~ and community
development of the City of Lynwood and important as related to each
. applicant:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: -
SECTION 1. That the City Council approves, the submittal of
the application Supplement and Joint Priority List as follows:
Priority 1)- State Street Improvement

Priority 2) Alley, Sidewalk,"Curb and Gutter Improvements
(CA-3035-0') 473,321 ..
Priority 3) Lynwood Community Recreational .Center
• Lynwood Unified School District i;
(New Application) 650,000
Priority 4) Nur's-ing Facility 'S't'ructur'es
Compton Community College
(L-CA-0317-1) 440,042
Priority 5) Street Lighting Conversion
(CA-3083-0) 174,105
SECTION. That the Mayor be authorized to sign the priority
listing for submittal to EDA.
SECTION 3. That the acting Director of Public Works
be authorized to prepare and sign the application supplements and to
submit them to EDA.
