RESOLUTION NO. 77-.59
- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE-
CITY OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS TNTENTION
TO CONDUCT A,,PUBLIC HEARING TO ASCERTAIN
WHETHER A~NUISANCE IS 'BEING MAINTAINED
ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY: '
. WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of";Lynwood
- has recommended that this City Council-find that"a cer-
fain -premises ~ within -the City of-Lynwood may be-..maintained
in- such;: a~ way as to constitute a nuisance; ~ and;
WHEREAS, certain procedures are set forth-in
Chapter 21 of the., City; Code: of the City of Lynwood,
:pursuant to which nuisances may be..abated,
' ~ °' NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF~THE CITY OF.
- - ~ LYNWOOD- DOES -HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
` -l: Based upon the aforesaid recommendation-of the
City Manager,, this Council hereby finds and determines.
- that-the following-described property maybe-presently
.beng,maintained in. such a manner as to constitute a nuisance.
Said property is described as. Lot 6 of the Slauson-Tract on
the Cerritos-and San~Antonio Ranch and is generally known
as~11700; 11704; 11710, 11760 Wright Road, and 5510, 5536,
~, 5580 W lard•Lane, Lynwood, California.

constitute a. nuisance are described:as~follows: fire
destroyed°buildings; fire damaged buildings; excessive
.. __ _ -_ . ___..-amounts of debris, j.unk_ and rubble; inoperative _ vehicles.;
illegal ,lean-to type sheds; etc. -
3. The method:"or methods by which;said:conditions~
could be"abated include: vacate and; clear entire~property..

•to conduct a•. public hearing. pursuant to Chapter 21-of
the City Code~~ of the City- of Lynwood tq asce"rtain-whether
the:,above-described conditions constitute a public nuisance;
the abatement of which is appropriate under. the police
power~of:the Ct;of Lynwood.
5. The. City Council is authorized and directed to.:fix
the time and place~for~said public hearing and to serve. and
post certified°copies of this Resolution"in.the manner set
forth"in~~Section 21-18 of the,Lynwood City Code.,
