HomeMy Public PortalAbout16255 Arv Ellen Sanitary Relief (Tesson Creek Estates Dr to Madaford Ln) (12079)O R D I N A N C E NO. 16255 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of One Million Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($1,025,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for sanitary sewer construction in Arv Ellen Sanitary Relief (Tesson Creek Estates Dr to Madaford Ln) (12079) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53029 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for sanitary sewer construction. WHEREAS, the bid for said sanitary sewer construction is Nine Hundred Fifteen Thousand Sixteen Dollars ($915,016.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is One Hundred Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-Four Dollars ($109,984.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($1,025,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for sanitary sewer construction in Arv Ellen Relief (Tesson Creek Estates Dr to Madaford Ln) (12079) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53029 with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for sanitary sewer construction in Arv Ellen Sanitary Relief (Tesson Creek Estates Dr to Madaford Ln) (12079) in Unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 12th day of October, 2023. The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 14, 2023.
