A RESOLUTION PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS AND
DIRECTING TIIE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREI~.TS
TO ABATE THE NUISANCE OF DRY AND DRYING
WEEDS TIlAT EXIST ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF
LAND IN TIIE CITY OF LYNWOOD
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, California
did on the. 5th day of July, 1977 and the 19th day of July, 1977,. adopt
Resolution No. 76-57 and No. 76-62 relating to the abatement of dry anal
drying weeds on certain parcels of land in the City of Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, due notice was .given to destroy such weeds by
,posting "Notice to Destroy Weeds" notices as required by law, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of
protests and objections to said matter, a hearing was duly held and written
or oral objections were made to the doing of said work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
considered all the facts and is fully informed in the matter, and they have
acquired jurisdiction to proceed and perform the work or removal of said.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintendent of
Streets of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate the
nuisance described in said Resolution No. 76-57 and No 76-62 by having
said nuisances referred to removed, and he and his assistants are hereby
expressly authorized to enter upon private property for that purpose

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any property owners shall
Have the right to have any such nuisance removed and abated at his own
expense,- provided such work is done, prior to the time the work is done by
the Superintendent of .Streets. If the work is done by the property owner, no
charge shall be made by the City of Lynwood
