CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 93-61
RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE PROPOSED PROPERTY TAX
LEVY FOR 1994 AND ESTABLISHING A DATE, TIME AND
PLACE FOR THE TRUTH IN TAXATION PUBLIC HEARING
WHEREAS, city staff has prepared a budget for the operations
of the City of Medina for the 1994 calendar year; and
WHEREAS, the Medina City Council has determined that a
property tax levy in the amount stated below is necessary to meet
the needs outlined in the budget:

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council adopt a
preliminary tax levy in the amount of $998, 000 for taxes payable in
1994 and that this amount be certified to the Hennepin County
Auditor as required by Minnesota Statute.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a Truth in Taxation hearing date
be held Wednesday, December 1, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. in the Medina City
Hall and a reconvened hearing be held Wednesday, December 15, 1993
at 7:00 p.m. in the same location.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was
duly seconded by member Ann Thies and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Councilmembers John Ferris, James Johnson, Thies, Zietlow and Mayor
Anne Theis
and the following voted against: none
and the following were absent: none
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted this
7th day of September , 1993.
