RESOLUTION NO. 13-8638
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO ADOPT AN EMERGENCY
HURRICANE PLAN FOR THE 2013 HURRICANE SEASON;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the 2013 Hurricane and Tropical Storm season has just begun; and
WHEREAS,the City of Opa-locka wants to be prepared for any hurricane emergencies that
may occur in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, desires to adopt a 2013
Hurricane Emergency Plan for the City of Opa-locka.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to begin preparation of an Emergency Hurricane Plan for the City of
Opa-locka.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
