RESOLUTION NO. 13-8639
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION 13-8608, TO
EXTEND INTERIM MEMBERS' TIME TO SERVE ON THE
COMMUNITY RELATIONS, RECREATION AND ACTIVITY
ADVISORY BOARD UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2013; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the City Commission passed Resolution 13-8608,approving the extension of
time for interim members to serve on the Community Relations,Recreation and Activity Advisory
Board; and
WHEREAS,pursuant to Resolution No. 13-8608,the Community Relations, Recreation
and Activity Advisory Board interim members' time to serve was extended until July 31,2013;and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, desires to further extend the
interim members of the Community Relations, Recreation and Activity Advisory Board until
September 30, 2013.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby further extends the time of service of the
interim members of the Community Relations, Recreation and Activity Advisory Board until
September 30, 2013.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of July, 2013.
