ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH UNITED STATES
INFRASTRUCTURE CORP., D/B/A USIC/SM&P UTILITY RESOURCES, INC., FOR
UTILITY LOCATE SERVICES.
WHEREAS, United States Infrastructure Corp., d/b/a USIC/SM&P Utility Resources, Inc.
has become the apparent lowest and best bidder on the Utility Locate
Services project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The bid of United States Infrastructure Corp., d/b/a USIC/SM&P Utility
Resources, Inc., is declared to be the lowest and best bid and is hereby accepted.
Section 2.The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute an agreement
with SM&P Utility Resources, Inc. for Utility Locate Services.
Section 3. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends award of the bid to the lowest and best bidder, United States
Infrastructure Corp. (USIC/SM&P) of Carmel. Indiana in the amount of$30,750.00 for year
one with up to two additional one year renewals at the specific prices bid for year two and
year three.
