RESOLUTION .NO. 77-75 ~ ~ "
A RESOLUTION.OF THE INCORPORATED CITY OF LYNWOOD ,
FIXING THE RATES OF.TAXES, AND LEVYING TAXES FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1877 AND ENDING

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF- LYNWOOD; CALIFORNIA, .
_- DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That for the purpose of taxation, all of.
that territory and lands lying and being in the corporate limits
of the City o.f Lynwood, California, prior to February 1, 1970,
shall constitute the taxing area subject to the'provisons of
.' this-Resolution.
Section~2. That the amount of money necessary to`be
raised by taxation upon .the taxable property within the corporate
limits of th"e. City of Lynwood, 'County of Los Angeles; State of
~Calfornia,,to provide, for carrying or.the`varous functions of
municipal government in said `City for .the Fiscal Year beginning.

sum of 'EIGHT HUNDRED FIFTY-NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE
`DOLLARS AND TWENTY-.SEVEN CENTS ($859;281.27).
. - Section 3. ..That in addition to the amount .of money -
- necessary 'to be raised as aforesaid, the amount of money necessary
to be raised by taxation .upon the taxable property within the
corporate limits of sand City to'provide for the"payment to the
' State.. Employees'.-Retirement System", authority for the execution .
of said. contract as granted by Ordinance No. 426, adopted by a
vote of•the qualified electors of the City of Lynwood the "
16th day of April, 1g46,.'for the Fscal.~Yearbeginning July 1,

Section 4,That for the purpose of raising the sum
of :money necessary to be raised by taxation upon the taxable
property within the 'City limits of said City o:f Lynwood as the

revenue to carry on the functions of the various departments
of said City, to provide payment to State Employees' Retirement
Fund as authorized in Ordinance No. 426, the rates of taxes are
hereby fixed and-taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property
within the City limits of said City for the Fiscal Year beginning
July lip 1977, and ending June 30, 1878, upon each $100.00 of the
assessed value of said property as assessed by the County
Assessor and equalized by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of. Los Angeles, State of California, for said fiscal year as
follows:

Section 5. The~Cty~Clerk is hereby drectedY`to `forward" ~`
immediately to the County Auditor-Controller of Los Angeles County
a certified copy of this resolution. -
Section 6.. That .the City Clerk of said City shall
certify to the adoption of this Resolution and cause the same to
be published once in the Lynwood Press, a weekly newspaper of
- general circulation, published and circulated in said City of .
Lynwood.
