AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund
of Deer Creek to be used for channel stabilization in Quailways Dr. #8 Channel Improvements
(10310) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract
No. 53020 with Keeley Construction Group, Inc. for channel stabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said channel stabilization is Four Hundred Seventy
Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-Nine Dollars ($470,689.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders and other project expenses is Seventy-Nine Thousand Three Hundred Eleven
Dollars ($79,311.00); and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operations, Maintenance, Construction, and Improvement Fund of
Deer Creek for channel stabilization in Quailways Dr. #8 Channel Improvements (10310) in the
City of Creve Coeur, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have
been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53020
with Keeley Construction Group, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel stabilization in
Quailways Dr. #8 Channel Improvements (10310) in the City of Creve Coeur, Missouri, pursuant
to bids received on the 8th day of November, 2023.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 2024
