HomeMy Public PortalAbout16267 Weston Place Pump Station (P-771) Improvements (12279)O R D I N A N C E NO.16267 AN ORDINANCE, making an appropriation of Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for pump station improvements in Weston Place Pump Station (P-771) Improvements (12279) in the City of Town and Country, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53041 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC for pump station improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for said pump station improvements is One Million Seven Hundred Eighty-Eight Thousand Three Hundred Fifty-One Dollars ($1,788,351.00) and the allowance for construction change orders and other project expenses is Three Hundred Eleven Thousand Six Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars ($311,649.00); and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,100,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for pump station improvements in Weston Place Pump Station (P-771) Improvements (12279) in the City of Town and Country, Missouri; said contract being comprised of such terms and conditions as have been approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract No. 53041 with Unnerstall Contracting Company, LLC, as the lowest responsible bidder for pump station improvements in Weston Place Pump Station (P-771) Improvements (12279) in the City of Town and Country, Missouri, pursuant to bids received on the 14th day of November, 2023. The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 11, 2024
