' A; RESOLUTION OF THE. CITY COUNCIL OF.-THE. CITY •
. OF LYNw00D, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO ESTABLISH-
MENT OF A PORTION.OF CENTURY BOULEVARD WITHIN
SAID CITY"AS A`PART.OF THE SYSTEM OF HIGHWAYS OF
THE. COUNTY. OF LOS. ANGELES
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors did on August 10, 1977
duly adopt a Resolution declaring that portion of Century Boulewa,rd between
Sepulveda.Boulevard and the Long Beach Freeway as apart of the System of
Highways of the County of Los Angeles, a ll~as provided in'Sections 1700 to
1704 inclusive of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California;
and.
WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors by said Resolution.
requested this Council to give its consent to .install, modify acid intex~-
conriect traffic control .signals and perfrom incidental work within said
portion in the City of Lynwood described above.; and
WHEREAS, pursuant.to Section 15101, Class 1 (c) of the State
Guidelines, the Secretary of Resources designated this type .of project as
c'at-egorcally exempt.
NOL~ THEREFORE, the. City Council of the City of Lynwood
does resolve as follows:
.SECTION 1. .Consent to Inclusion in County Highways .System.

of Century. Boulevard between Sepulveda Boulevard and the. Long Beach~Freeway
and. intersecting streets appurtenant to the.. construction thereof, within
the City~of• Lynwood, as apart of the System of Highways of the County of
Los: Angeles as provided in Sections 1700 to 1704 inclusive of the Streets
and Highways Code of the State of California. Said consent is for the
purpose of.instaling, modifying ,and interconnecting traffic.. control signals
and performing incidental work as may, be necessary by the County. of Los'•Angele

said improvement is for street improvements of a,minor nature, include the
.following:) Thies City Council does hereby find that pursuant to Govern-
ment Code,•Section 65402.(b), ~theaforesaid improvement is for street improve-
ments`,o,f ,a minor nature and that; therefore, the provisions of said Section
req•uring,,the submission to and report upon said project by the City Planning
~.Age~ncy'° does not apply.
